July Highlights: Thank You for Making a Difference!
Thanks to the generosity of our Members and Affiliates, NAAR collected more than 75 backpacks filled with school supplies for the Kuttz Back 2 School Backpack and Supplies Drive! Your donations are helping local students have what they need to be successful in and out of the classroom and show up ready to learn.
Our July blood drive was a success, with 16 donors, including a first-time donor! Together, we collected 18 blood products through Power Red donations, providing much-needed support to those in need.
Thank you for showing up and giving back. This summer has been challenging for many, and your generosity is a true beacon of support in our community!
Understanding Flagstaff’s Housing Landscape
The City of Flagstaff Housing Division’s Development Impact Report highlights 30 years of housing efforts, including 3,572 housing units created—1,722 of them affordable—through local, state, and federal programs. The report offers a look at the Division’s impact on Flagstaff’s housing landscape.
Housing Solutions of Northern Arizona has also released a 15-year analysis of Flagstaff’s housing trends, examining changes in rental and homeownership costs, housing affordability, cost-burdened households, and what local households and occupations can realistically afford.
Looking ahead, the City is seeking Flagstaff residents with experience in real estate, building, development, or community issues to serve on the Housing Commission and advise City Council on local housing needs and policies. The commitment is approximately two hours per month, with virtual meetings held the fourth Thursday from 1–3 PM. Apply by September 23 to help shape the future of housing in Flagstaff!

Manufactured Housing & Factory-Built Building Industry Update
The Office of Manufactured Housing is in the process of adopting a revised list of building codes (click on the photo to review the revised list of codes) with an anticipated effective date of DECEMBER 5, 2026. ALL plans will require an update, so coordinate with your design professional to ensure a timely submission of revised plans. More information will follow as updates are available. Fingerprint Update
NOTE: This information is being shared as a reminder. For further clarification or specific questions, please contact ADRE directly.
The Department of Real Estate has determined that actively monitoring criminal history records of real estate licensees through fingerprint clearance cards is reasonably necessary to protect the public and the real estate industry. Accordingly, the Department’s policy is that a valid fingerprint clearance card is required for all holders of an active license.
How to Check Your Status & Take Action:
Verify Your Date: Log into your personal ADRE online portal orto check your card's listed issue date.
Apply Online Immediately: If your card is approaching or past its 6-year mark, visit the AZDPS Public Services Portal. OR
Submit the Most Current Version of the PSP Paper Application.
*You do not need a Public Service Portal account to download the paper application. Paper applications with paper fingerprint cards MUST be accompanied by the new NON-IVP Fingerprint Affidavit form which will be available with the application download.
At this time, NAAR does not have any fingerprinting events scheduled. If that changes, we will notify our members. More guidance from the Arizona REALTORS is available at the link below.
NAR Trademark Rules and Advertising Violations Reminder
A quick reminder for all real estate licensees: advertising compliance matters. The REALTOR® trademark is a valuable NAR membership benefit and may only be used by NAR members to identify their membership—not as a generic term for a real estate agent or business.
Members should use the REALTOR® marks correctly across advertising, social media, websites, email, and other marketing materials, following NAR’s trademark and design guidelines. Non-members may not use the REALTOR® marks in connection with their businesses or services.
Take a moment to review your real estate profiles and advertising to ensure your use of REALTOR® and other NAR trademarks is accurate and compliant. NAAR also encourages members to review the Arizona Department of Real Estate’s guidance on common advertising violations to help keep your marketing on the right track.
