Leadership Update for 2027 & 2028
After thoughtful discussion, the President and President-Elect have jointly agreed that Kristina Henson will continue as President in 2027, and Mark Colletti will serve as President in 2028. This decision provides leadership continuity during a time of change and supports a smooth transition. Please join us in thanking Kristina for her continued service!
Thank you for your support as our local association navigates a period of rapid change. We remain committed to serving our members and community by focusing on four key priorities:
Keeping the association stable and strong
Providing valuable tools and resources for members
Offering high-quality continuing education
Giving back through community service
Finally, we are proud to share that NAAR Past President Jessica Garard is a candidate for Treasurer of the Arizona REALTORS®. Jessica has served NAAR in many roles and would be a strong voice for rural Arizona. Please join us in congratulating Jessica!
Make Your Voice Count
With Election Day approaching, we're pleased to share the NAAR Member Voter Guide. It's designed to help you make informed decisions on the issues and candidates that impact real estate, housing, and our community.
After careful review and recommendations from the Advocacy Committee, the NAAR Board of Directors approved the support of FUSD Propositions 407 and 409, City of Flagstaff Public Safety Propositions 404 and 405, and Flagstaff City Council candidates Nancy Baca and Lori Matthews.
Please take a few minutes to review the guide by clicking the button below. These are recommendations only, intended to share the board's position on issues affecting our industry. How you vote is entirely your decision.
Special thanks to the Advocacy Committee for its work during this election year and for strengthening relationships with the City, County, and other community partners.
Arizona Leadership Conference Recap
Earlier this month, Arizona REALTORS® gathered for the 2026 Arizona REALTORS® Leadership Conference to celebrate Past President Lisa Paffrath and welcome AAR's 2027 President, Shane Cook!
Attendees heard from incredible speakers and participated in engaging sessions focused on leadership, communication, and strengthening our REALTOR® community. Thank you to everyone who was able to join and made this year’s conference a success!
Try AAR BOT & Share Your Feedback
Arizona REALTORS® invites members to explore AAR BOT during its two-month beta test. This secure, confidential tool provides 24/7 access to Arizona real estate information, including laws, forms, legislation, and member resources. Try it out and share your feedback to help determine whether it becomes a permanent member benefit.
ADRE Update to General Continuing Education (CE) Credit Requirements
Effective January 1, 2027, ADRE is replacing the Firewise continuing education credit with a mandatory Real Estate Fraud course. Licensees renewing after March 1, 2027, must complete the new course, which addresses growing concerns about property theft and title fraud. Wildfire preparedness resources will remain available through ADRE’s consumer advisory.
If you have questions regarding this change, please contact ADRE via their message center or by clicking the button below.
