2025 Dues Renewal and Breakdown of Cost Value
NAAR Dues invoices will be emailed/posted the week of December 9th, 2024 and are due Wednesday, January 1, 2025. If paying with a check, please make sure your check arrives On or BEFORE January 1, 2025.
Late fee added to all unpaid accounts Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
All unpaid accounts will be deactivated Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Nondeductible Portion Of AAR And NAR Dues
Compliance with the Tax Reform Act of 1993 requires that the portion of dues attributable to lobbying and political activities at the State and Federal levels of government be considered nondeductible for income tax purposes.
Arizona REALTORS®: The 2025 Arizona REALTORS® dues have been approved at $175.00 per member. The nondeductible portion of the 2025 dues is $0 pursuant to the IRS lobbying expense formula and $175.00 will be deductible for member income tax purposes.
National Association of REALTORS®: For 2025, with dues at $156 per member, NAR computes 35 percent or $55 to be nondeductible for the member's income tax purposes due to NAR lobbying efforts. Please note that the entire $45 Consumer Advertising Campaign special assessment qualifies as fully deductible.

Annual Insights from NAAR
The National Association of REALTORS® Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers is an annual survey of recent home buyers and sellers who recently completed a transaction between July 2023 and June 2024. This flagship report has been published since 1981. The annual report allows industry professionals to gain insight into detailed buying and selling behavior. Each iteration of the report is as unique as the economic, social, and demographic environment in which it is published.

MLS Rules and Regulations Reminder
Clerical Users: Clerical Users are individuals (whether licensed or unlicensed) under the direct supervision of an MLS Participant or Subscriber that perform only administrative and clerical tasks that do not require a real estate license or an Appraiser’s certificate or license.
Clerical Users may join the MLS through their employing Participant or Subscriber. The Participant is responsible for the conduct of the Clerical User. Clerical Users must be linked in the system to at least one Participant. They may also be linked to a particular Subscriber. Each Participant and Subscriber must provide the MLS with a list of all Clerical Users employed by or affiliated as independent contractors with the Participant or Subscriber and will immediately notify the MLS of any changes, additions, or deletions from the list. Clerical Users are subject to the following requirements:
a. Clerical Users are given a unique passcode
b. Clerical Users must have any fees paid in full
c. Participant or Subscriber linked to the Clerical User may be fined, disciplined or terminated for Clerical User’s misconduct; and
d. Clerical Users must sign a written agreement to abide by the rules and regulations of the MLS
Note: Violation fines collected by NAAR are used to fund community support activities. NAAR does not benefit from MLS fines and would like to see the number of fines reduced!
